The Constantine Andreou Archive is an independent, family-led research resource devoted to the life and work of Constantine Andreou (1917–2007).
The Archive’s founders and editors are Kimon A. Andreou, PhD and Arys E. Andreou, nephews of Constantine Andreou.
Our purpose
The Archive brings together an artwork catalogue, a documented biography, exhibition histories, bibliographic records, and archival material relating to Andreou’s sculpture, painting, printmaking, and other creative work.
Collectors, art historians, researchers, auction houses, and art lovers can use these resources to study individual works, consult exhibition and publication histories, and locate sources for further research.
The collection
The family collection presented here includes works given by Andreou to Kimon and his immediate family during the artist’s lifetime, alongside works inherited after his death.
The catalogue includes works held by the family and in other collections. It continues to expand as reliable information and suitable images become available.
Each catalogued work has a stable Archive identifier. Records may include titles, dates, materials, dimensions, inscriptions, provenance, exhibitions, publications, and images, according to the documentation available. Unknown or uncertain information is identified explicitly.
Research and documentation
The Archive draws on family records, publications, exhibition catalogues, institutional collections, and other identifiable sources. Documented facts, family testimony, and unresolved questions are kept distinct.
Names, dates, and exhibition details can vary between languages and sources. Where accounts conflict, the Archive assesses the available evidence and records what remains uncertain. Catalogue records and research pages are revised as further material is identified.
Researchers, institutions, collectors, and others who hold relevant documentation or information are invited to contact the Archive. Corrections supported by verifiable sources are also welcome.

The Archive is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Costas Andreou Foundation.

Images of works by Constantine Andreou may involve separate rights in the artwork and in the photograph. The appearance of an artwork, image, publication, or archival document on this website does not by itself grant permission to reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, or use it commercially.
Material supplied by museums, institutions, photographers, publishers, or other third parties remains subject to the credit line, permission, or licence stated alongside it. No Archive-wide licence applies to third-party material.
